Subject: Now In Color And More
This is Roy Rogers second feature film in Trucolor and it's very good of kind. Somewhat violent as well for a Rogers picture, seeing as how long time stunt man, David Sharpe, beats the hell out of him early on. Andy Devine joins the crew replacing Gabby Hayes and doesn't miss a beat in comedic action. This color print is a TV print and has been trimmed mercilessly in spots. Still good and watchable. VCI has the restored DVD which is much better. Enjoy.
